I have owned and bought Canada Goose Parkas since they came on the market. I bought a red or dark grey one. I live in upstate NY in the Mountains. These parkas are the best. You buy quality, and you'll be warm for years. I visited friends in Canada when the weather was below minus 40 C. I wasn't cold, except for my legs since I did not wear thick, long undies.

Not your typical made in China BBQ. So proud it is Canadian made!

who has something like this at home, I want to know if it heats, and how much volume m³ it heats, or is it just a design fireplace where you have to make moderate fires, not generous ones

I was in field service for 40 years and for 3/4 of that I used Pelican to transport tools. They were shipped by air, FedEx, UPS and several local freight lines through out the Rocky Mountain region as well as to support fellow engineers across the nation. Almost forgot the 30000 miles a year in a company vehicle. The only issue I ever had was wearing out the wheels (3 sets total) and never had an issue getting them replaced by the manufacturer. IMHO Pelican is a go to product that can do the job.

My Mom bought one when they first came out in 1985, thought they were so beautiful and shiny. She passed it on to me in the mid 90's and I am still using it daily. The kettle itself is superb! Beautiful design and the shiny stainless steel is something to behold. I have had a couple of problems over the years. It was left on the electric burner one day, boiled all the water out and the knob for the top cover melted loose from the heat. I was able to repair it although replacement lids are available. Amazingly, after sitting on the burner which was on high with no water in it for over 15 mins., the kettle was fine, bottom was a bit discolored but that was all. The bird whistle finally broke off a piece where it goes into the kettle which is why I am here as I am looking for a replacement. The kettle is generally not left on the stove unless being used. If left on the stove cooking things near it will eventually leave a film buildup from oils, splatters, etc. on the stainless steel causing it to lose shine. I have cleaned mine on occasion with "Simichrome" metal polish to get that wonderful SS shine back. What more can I say, it is 39 yrs.old and still a beautiful work of art to behold!

I have owned a buck 110 all my life. Still have one. But, hat was before I got to know about steel. 420 is probably the worst steel you can get. Super cheap is why buck uses it. They have a good heat treat but garbage steel. My buck 110 has sat in my closet now for years. Rest in piece little guy..

I bought a Schott jacket a few years ago and the stitching started coming out immediately on the shoulders, they might have been a good company at one point but they're dogshit now...

I've had three pairs of Fryes over the past 15 years. Still have all three of them. Getting ready to send the first pair off for resoling. Thousands of miles on these boots in all kinds of weather. I've got more confidence in Frye than I have in any other riding shoe I've owned.

I’ve been living in Toronto for 8 years and I was always wearing alpha industries n3b parka. Overall I was very happy even in extreme temperatures but it was time for a new one. I never justified the price point on Canada goose. Then I found out that they have a generations program. They sell gently used in good condition jackets. I find expedition model for $250 CAD on marketplace and send them for trade in. They sent me a $780 gift card and I bought citadel model which I like the first better. Just paid $80 for tax. The built quality is insane but even if I was a billionaire I’d never buy a jacket for $2k.

As I watch this video, I am sitting in my Ekornes Stressless recliner chair I bought 2 yrs. ago. It was a new open box item purchased from an Ekornes Stressless dealer in Florida. The model is the medium "Commodore" in a beautiful "pumpkin" colored leather. The model is now called the "Admiral". I believe the leather color is called Paloma. The chair was great up until a month or two ago. It seems the foam and padding are now collapsed and it feels like I'm sitting on a board. I'm 67 and was hoping the Ekornes would outlast me...not! I will never buy another Ekornes chair again. Now saving up for the "Eames" chair. Cheers!
